BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- China's cabinet, the State Council, has recently unveiled a string of policies to promote the cluster development of integrated circuit (IC) industry and software Industry, reported the www.gov.cn on Tuesday.
Efforts would be made to enhance the promotion of innovative products in the IC and software industries, and push forward constant upgrading of technologies.
Moreover, China will deepen global cooperation in the IC and software industries, strive to create a good environment for international companies to invest and develop in China.
Domestic universities and research institutes are encouraged to strengthen cooperation with their overseas counterparts. International companies are also encouraged to build research and development (R&D) centers in China.
To promote the IC and software industries to "go global", China will facilitate domestic companies to jointly build R&D centers overseas, in a bid to let them make better use of international innovation resources to improve industrial development level.
