BEIJING, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- The cultural tourism industry in central China's Hubei Province got 80 billion yuan of intentional credit line from five banks, reported the Hubei Daily last Saturday.
Seven cultural tourism enterprises including Wuhan Tourism Development & Investment Group Co. obtained 18 billion yuan of project financing in total.
Zhang Wenbing, vice governor of Hubei, noted that the cultural tourism industry is of great significance to the economic and social development amid the post-epidemic era. Confidence on market recovery should be enhanced.
Efforts should be made to increase financial support, implement assistance policies for enterprises, stimulate consumption, protect the medium-sized, small and micro cultural tourism enterprises, and accelerate major project construction, said Zhang.
With financial support and project construction as the driving forces, the cultural tourism market in Hubei is bound to embrace full recovery. (Edited by Zhang Yuan with Xinhua Silk Road, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
