CHENGDU, July 31 (Xinhua) -- The capital city of Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday witnessed 34 projects in service sectors signed, with a total contract value worth 80.816 billion yuan, reported Sichuan Daily Wednesday.
The projects involve human resources, intelligent manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, modern logistics, and health care sectors.
Among them, nine major service industry projects were signed at the same time, with a total agreement value of 25.946 billion yuan.
Leading enterprises like Nanshan Holdings, Longfor Group Holdings Limited, and East Hope Group agreed to invest 7.246 billion yuan in project construction.
It is noted that Longfor Group plans to build a high-tech and innovation base covering an area of 250,000 square meters in Qingyang District of Chengdu, which will be used to operate high-tech industry clusters.
Chengdu has injected a total of 62.198 billion yuan into 314 major service projects in the first half of 2020, with an investment completion rate of 56.48 percent.
In July, 21 projects in service sector have started construction in Chengdu, involving a total investment of 47.578 billion yuan. The city plans to invest 7.05 billion yuan in 2020.
