BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) --The demonstration zone of green and integrated ecological development of the Yangtze River Delta, a leading growth engine in China, released a catalog Wednesday to guide industrial development, reported Shanghai Securities News.
According to the catalog, the zone will focus on developing five kinds of economy to push forward the integrated and innovation development of the zone, introduced Liu Ping, chief engineer with the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, at a press conference.
The five kinds of economy are namaly the functional headquarters economy, the characteristic service economy, the integrated digital economy, the cutting-edge innovation economy and the ecological lake district economy.
Specifically, efforts would be made to introduce and cultivate a batch of headquarters for multinationals, private firms and state-owned enterprises, and develop featured high-end service industries such as modern trade and logistics, green finance, technology services, energy conservation and environmental protection, etc.
Efforts would also be made to develop new business models like artificial intelligence (AI) plus, 5G plus, and big data plus, emerging industries like life and health, green and new energy, light smart equipment, and service-oriented manufacturing, and land district industries like water town cultural tourism, green agriculture and modern education.
