BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- China's express-delivery activities were less active in June from the previous month, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
The China express-delivery index stood at 107.1 percent in June, down by 1.7 percentage points from May, according to the federation.
The index, compiled based on data from large logistics firms operating delivery services, provides a perspective on business activities in the economy.
In June, the sub-index for the service-business express was 106.7 percent, down by 4 percentage points from the previous month, but still at a high level.
Business activities in the manufacturing industry continued to be active. In June, the sub-index for the manufacturing-business express was 109.7 percent, up by 1.7 percentage points from the previous month.
