BEIJING, July 8(Xinhua) -- The Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADBC), an agricultural policy bank, has provided 31.3 billion yuan in loans as of July 5 to support the ecological protection of the Yellow River Basin, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported on Tuesday.
Since this year, the lender has ramped up efforts to thoroughly implement the national strategy for ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.
With a focus on ecological protection projects, ADBC has stepped up its policy-based financial services to help more enterprises resume production and operation this year.
It is learned that the lender's Shanxi branch has signed a strategic agreement with Shanxi Energy and Transport Investment Co to carry out in-depth cooperation in the ecological protection of the Yellow River Basin and poverty relief.
