BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Xu Yang China-France Intelligent Industrial Park was launched on Tuesday in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin province.
With a total investment of 8 billion yuan and an area of 1 million square meters, the industrial park focuses on high-end automobile manufacturing. It will be able to produce more than 500 kinds of auxiliary products for intelligent vehicles and create 7,000 jobs when it reaches full capacity.
It aims to build a world-class manufacturing base of intelligent car components with a scale of 10 billion yuan.
The project is also an innovative practice to create a new model of internet plus coordinative manufacturing, which will help Changchun upgrade its automobile manufacturing industry.
At present, Changchun is in the critical period of developing the automobile industry, and the municipal government strategically proposes to build an automobile industry cluster with an annual output value of more than a trillion yuan.
Risun (Xu Yang) Group has been carrying out extensive cooperation with French automotive company Faurecia to jointly build the industrial park, which not only conforms to the industrial development strategy of Jilin Province and Chuangchun City, but also fits in with its own development path to become bigger and stronger.
