BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- China's industrial Internet is growing on fast track as efforts to build related industrial parks and foster related industrial clusters accelerate, reported Economic Information Daily Thursday.
As a key area of new infrastructure, the industrial Internet has received continuous policy support recently at both the central and local levels which aims at hastening the innovative development of the industry and bolstering the digital, networked and intelligent development of the manufacturing sector.
To give full play to the agglomeration advantages of the industrial Internet at a faster speed, multiple regions are stepping up planning and building of related industrial parks.
Qingdao City of east China's Shandong Province has recently started construction of its first industrial Internet industrial park which covers an area of about 35,000 square meters with an total investment of 1.5 billion yuan.
Chinese capital city Beijing proposed recently to build a batch of industrial parks with distinctive features and focusing on key industries like industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing.
Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality announced that it will strive to build an industrial Internet ecology and innovation industrial park.
Driven by favorable policies, leading industrial Internet companies in China have turned their eyes to upgrade industrial Internet platforms with core technologies.
On June 29, the Tencent Cloud (Zhangjiagang) industrial cloud platform went live with the settlement of 52 enterprises, the first batch.
On June 22, Inspur Group, a cloud computing and big data supplier in China, announced to upgrade its "Yunzhou" industrial Internet platform, so as to further provide industrial cloud, industrial big data and other services to enterprises, government public service platforms and parks.

Efforts should be made to promote the adoption of cloud platforms in advanced manufacturing and encourage cooperation between platform enterprises and manufacturing enterprises, financial institutions as well as insurance companies, suggested Yuan Xiaoqing, a chief researcher with the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
