BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has recently signed a contract with Kenya Rural Roads Authority to conduct a highway construction project.
The project is the second one signed by CCECC in Kenya this year.
Located in Homa Bay County, adjacent to the east coast of Lake Victoria, this project involves upgrading and reconstruction of a 66-kilometer existing road. After completion, it will effectively promote the economic development of the area.
The signing of the project marks the company's business area expands to the east coast of Lake Victoria, laying a solid foundation for the further development of the follow-up projects in Kenya in the future.
