BEIJING, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Tianjin Port (Group) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei on World Intelligence Congress 2020, to jointly build Tianjin Port a green and smart pivotal port.
According to the agreement, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in top-level information design and smart port cooperation.
Huawei will provide technical support in exploration and promotion of business transformation, upgrading and innovation development, and comprehensive and efficient information and communication technology solutions for Tianjin Port (Group).
Besides, the two sides will enhance industrial park cooperation, give full play to Tianjin Port (Group)'s advantages in port parks and Huawei's leading solutions in smart parks, and jointly promote the construction of smart port parks.
"Huawei is conducting innovation programs and trials of 5G application in major ports, including the Guangzhou Port, Tianjin Port, Qingdao Port, and Ningbo-Zhoushan Port," said Li Kewu, Huawei's chief expert of port digitization.
