BEIJING, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese technology firm Huawei signed on Sunday a cloud-based Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on strategic cooperation with Himalaya Airlines in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The two sides will promote the construction of intelligent aviation, and explore all-round cooperation in passenger traffic and freight transport system.
Zhou Enyong, president of Himalaya Airlines, noted that the establishment of a strategic partnership with Huawei will help accelerate its digital transformation and enhance passengers' trip satisfaction.
Applying digital technology to improve efficiency is a new trend in the development of the aviation industry, said Zhou Danjin, president of Huawei's Asia-Pacific cloud and computing business, adding that Huawei will help Himalaya Airlines to further improve industrial competitiveness.
