BEIJING, June 24 (Xinhua) -- With the new infrastructure construction is accelerating, China is also speeding up digital talent cultivation.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Ministry of Education has jointly issued the guidelines on the construction of a group of benchmark software colleges in the fields of key basic software and large-scale industrial software.
The move is aimed at cultivating specialized software talents that meet the needs of industrial development, promoting breakthroughs in key software technologies, ecological construction of the software industry and improving software using ability in general, according to the MIIT.
In an effort to promote the communication between talent training and the market demand, the guidelines encourage software enterprises to be deeply involved in teaching system and curriculum design, textbooks compiling, teaching activities, experimental platform construction.
Enterprises have also played a role in enhancing the training of new talents in software. Baidu has announced that it has launched deep learning and artificial intelligence courses with more than 200 universities. A number of internet companies have also released talent training programs.
