BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) – Construction on 101 projects kicked off Tuesday in southwest China's Guizhou Province, with the total investment exceeding 60 billion yuan.
Project funds raised from special-purpose local government bonds reached 10.664 billion yuan.
Among the projects, there are 41 public health and service projects with a total investment of 14.3 billion yuan, and 22 industrial supporting infrastructure projects with a total investment of 15.2 billion yuan.
Besides, there are 38 projects centering on new infrastructure, new urbanization and major projects with a total investment of 31.2 billion yuan.
Guizhou will quicken its pace to use special-purpose bonds as project capital to support the construction of major projects in an attempt to further boost its economic growth .
