BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- East China's Jiangsu province has recently launched its industrial internet construction project in cooperation with Tencent to promote the upgrading of the province's industrial internet construction and application, reported Shanghai Securities News on Wednesday.
According to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, the project will cultivate 6 provincial industrial internet cloud service centers, 60 relevant backbone enterprises and 600 model enterprises using cloud platforms by the end of 2022.
Jiangsu will invest 20 billion yuan in construction of provincial industrial internet cloud service centers and large-scale IDC infrastructure and industrial empowerment bases
In terms of setting the backbone enterprises, Jiangsu will encourage Tencent to cooperate with financing institutions to develop special investment and financing docking for superior industrial internet enterprises which will enrich the investment and financing channels for those enterprises.
As for the cloud platforms, the province will support Tencent to cooperate with industrial parks to help more enterprises work on cloud platforms and establish special subsidy funds.
