MILAN, June 1 (Class Editori) - The Ci-Lam Academy starts the advanced training program China Italy Laboratory on Advanced Manufacturing, a bilateral platform established in 2017. The aim is to promote and strengthen cutting-edge research and development activities in the field of advanced manufacturing. Partners of this reality are Tsinghua University of Beijing, the University of Bergamo, the University of Naples Federico II, China Science and Technology Automation Alliance (CSAA) and Campania NewSteel.
The inaugural ceremony of the 2020 edition is scheduled for Wednesday 3 June 2020 with the participation of the Minister of the University Gaetano Manfredi, among others, connections with the Chinese counterpart and the rectors of the three universities involved: University of Bergamo, University of Naples Federico II, Tsinghua University, to which are added China SCI-Tech Automation Alliance (CSAA) and Campania NewSteel.
As part of the Academy's activities, were organized a Summer School for university students and a series of Innovation webinars for professionals, entrepreneurs and researchers. These initiatives deal with issues related to advanced manufacturing, from Big Data to Integrated Energy Systems, Predictive Maintenance, Cybersecurity, Cobotics, 5G, etc.
The limitations imposed by the health emergency led to the complete digitalization of the program, through a series of online training activities. The aim of the platforms is to expand the agreement signed in 2017.
The China-Italy axis this year assumes an even stronger value from the point of view of international cooperation, reads a note. The launch of the Ci-Lam Academy should have taken place in the spaces of the Chinese university.
