BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- The executed contract value of China's service outsourcing increased 10.6 percent year on year to 247.65 billion yuan in the first four months of this year, data from the Ministry of Commerce showed on Wednesday.
Among them, the executed contract value of offshore service outsourcing reached 149.17 billion yuan, up 10.4 percent year on year, including 25.29 billion yuan coming from contracts with the countries along the Belt and Road route, with a year-on-year increase of 6.9 percent.
Driven by the rapid growth of information technology and biomedical R&D outsourcing, in the first four months this year, the executed contract value of offshore service outsourcing in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region totaled 13.48 billion yuan, an increase of 31.4 percent year on year.
In terms of market orientation, service outsourcing business with Hong Kong and Japan grew rapidly. From January to April, the executed contract value of offshore service outsourcing from Hong Kong and Japan hit 28.14 billion yuan and 11.72 billion yuan, up 14.1 percent and 12.7 percent year on year, respectively.
