BEIJING, May 20 (Xinhua) -- China's leading service robot producer Ecovacs Robotics (603486.SH) announced on Tuesday that it signed a product purchase and technology licensing agreement with the American company iRobot Corporation.
Under the agreement, iRobot Corporation will exclusively purchase from Ecovacs Robotics the floor-cleaning robot products based on the latter's unique design. Meanwhile, iRobot Corporation will license its unique Aeroforce® technology and related intellectual property rights to Ecovacs Robotics.
iRobot Corporation is a global leading household service robot company that designs and sells robot vacuums. Its business covers major global markets including China, the United States, Europe, and Japan.
