BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese search engine company Sogou Inc. reported its revenue in the first quarter reached 1.79 billion yuan (about 251 million U.S. dollars), up 5 percent year on year, according to its unaudited financial results released Monday.
Due to the higher demand from users amid the COVID-19 epidemic, the search traffic of Sogou surged by 20 percent in the first quarter year on year, the results have shown.
The number of daily active users of the Sogou Mobile Keyboard increased by 9 percent year on year to 480 million, according to the results.
