BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Changsha, capital of the central China's Hunan province, has recently launched 35 measures to further improve its business environment, reported Hunan Daily Monday.
The measures, to be put into operation from June 1, include the facilitation for enterprises' registration and cancellation, the policies on reducing taxes and fees to further reduce operating costs and ensure fair market competition, and approaches to optimize government services and improve government-enterprise relationship.
By implementing the measures, Changsha will expand the business environment optimization work to towns, villages and communities, achieving an all-round coverage and regulating all relevant behaviors.
In recent years, Changsha has made remarkable achievements in optimizing its business environment. Through four special actions including improving efficiency, reducing costs in the real economy, protecting the rights and interests of entrepreneurs, and implementing policies, Changsha ranked as a national model in 2019 for innovation in improving business environment.
At the beginning of this year, the Changsha Development and Reform Commission formulated the 2020 Plan for Changsha's Business Environment Optimization Project. It has clearly stated that the city will concentrate on high-quality development in the service and manufacturing sectors, put emphasis on improving government services and law-based business environment, and make efforts to promote the business environment optimization project.
