BEIJING, April 29 (Xinhua) -- North China's Hebei Province will initiate the implementation of a three-year action plan for the sports (ice and snow) industry upgrade, according to the local newspaper on Wednesday.
It will earmark special funds, and introduce measures to support local cities to strengthen R&D and innovation, industrial planning, publicity and promotion on the industry. Each city is encouraged to build one or two sports (ice and snow) industrial complexes, or sports (ice and snow) industrial towns.
In 2019, Hebei quickened the pace in the development of the sports industry and promoted the ice and snow plus tourism integration development.
