BEIJING, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Global personal computer giant Lenovo Group hopes its smart service revenues will top 1 billion U.S. dollars in China in the new fiscal year amid the country's post-epidemic recovery.
Efforts will be made to promote services related to smart cities, smart agriculture and smart energy, Liu Jun, the executive vice president of the company, said at the "Lenovo FY2020 China Kickoff" Tuesday.
Domestic smart service revenues of Lenovo exceeded 5 billion yuan (about 710.17 million U.S. dollars) in the 2019/2020 fiscal year, surging 34 percent year on year.
The company also eyes more progress in personal computers, mobile services, data centers and artificial intelligence in the new financial year.
Lenovo will swing into full gear to expand its market share of personal computers by 1.1 percentage points, said Liu.
The company is in full sail to grasp the opportunity spawned by the burgeoning online economy and work in tandem with the country's efforts to deploy new infrastructure projects, said Yang Yuanqing, the group's chairman and CEO.
