BEIJING, April 1 (Xinhua) -- The southern Chinese island province of Hainan on Tuesday launched a recruitment for more than 30,000 talents globally to help them participate in building Hainan free trade port, reported Shanghai Securities News on Wednesday.
In this recruitment, jobs offered in the three pillar industries of Hainan, namely modern service, tourism and high-tech sector, account for 31 percent, 24.8 percent and 6.9 percent of the total, respectively.
Jobs offered to top talents with annual salary of 300,000 yuan or above hit a record high of 1,717, mainly involving education, medical services, and tourism among other fields.
Key industrial parks in the province have posted strong demands for talents, as 3,126 of these jobs are offered by Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, Haikou Jiangdong New District and other key parks.
Jobs for professional and technical talents, skilled talents, management talents as well as social work talents and rural practical talents take up 40 percent, 25 percent, seven percent and ten percent of the total, respectively.
Jobs involving new business and occupations like short video production and live streaming, international liaison specialist and AI engineer are also offered.
Besides, 470 of the jobs are for international talents like foreign language teachers, aviation pilots and repairmen, and hotel management staff.
