BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhua) – A China-Europe freight train departed recently from Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, heading for Enns, Austria, a new destination of freight trains from the city, reported yidayilu.com.cn recently.
It marked the fifth freight train destination of the Shenyang China-Europe freight train after Hamburg, Duisburg, Mara and Warsaw.
The new freight train service is aimed at boosting trade between the economic hub of Shenyang in northeast China and Europe.
By far, Shenyang has registered a total of 54 inbound and outbound freight trains between China and European countries, up 63.6 percent compared with the same period last year, showed the latest official data. (Edited by Jiang Feifan with Xinhua Silk Road, firstname.lastname@example.org)
