BEIJING, March 21 (Xinhua) -- China's interbank money market saw 58 trillion yuan (about 8.2 trillion U.S. dollars) in transactions in February, down 8.22 percent year on year, data from the People's Bank of China showed.
The pledged repo turnover dropped by 1.16 percent to 50.6 trillion yuan, while the outright repo turnover declined 34.52 percent to 400 billion yuan.
Interbank borrowing turnover decreased 38.57 percent from a year ago to 7 trillion yuan last month, according to the data.
