BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Northern Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. (NHI) under Liaoning Fangda Group Industrial Co., Ltd. has officially signed a land and port transportation system project in Pakistan, reported www.chinanews.com Monday.
The project, with its total contract value of 30 million U.S. dollars, is initiated by Pakistan International Bulk Terminal Co., Ltd.. It will involve civil construction, product design, production, installation and commissioning.
After being put into operation, the production capacity is expected to double and it will serve for the infrastructure construction of power plants and cement plants in Pakistan, which will effectively support Pakistan's domestic economic construction and improve the living standards of local people.
NHI is a large multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company in China. Its products cover many overseas markets.
