BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Initially set out on March 19 of 2011, the China-Europe freight trains have experienced rapid growth over the years and had run around 20,000 trips by the end of October 2019, data from the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. (CHINA RAILWAY) showed.
As a major tranportation channel connecting China with the Belt and Road (B&R) countries, Horgos Port in northwest China's Uygur Autonomous Region witnessed a total of 3,044 freight trains in the first eleven months of 2019.
Erenhot Port in northwest China's Inner Mongolia, the lartest land port connecting China and Mongolia, witnessed a total of 1,500 freight trains passed through the port in 2019. (Edited by Jiang Feifan, 346129473@qq.com)
