BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Central China’s Hunan Province approved construction of 105 major projects with a total investment of nearly one trillion yuan this year, Hunan Daily reported on Thursday.
They include 75 infrastructure construction projects, 13 environmental protection ones and 17 livelihood ones. Among them, 51 transportation projects account for more than half of the total investment.
Construction on 12 new expressways will start this year. The expansion work on Changsha Huanghua International Airport, the largest single project of the total, is expected to begin in November.Acc
According to the mainstream media of Hunan province, in 2020, the Province will continue to improve people’s livelihood through promoting projects related to water security, water pollution control, water ecological protection and restoration, shantytown renovation, rural water supply, rural “toilet revolution” and old community upgrading.
