BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) -- A work resumption activity for 11 major infrastructure projects with investment totaling about 78 billion yuan was held Sunday in Langfang of north China's Hebei Province to boost coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region amid the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic.
The projects include four railway projects with a total mileage of about 163 kilometers and a total investment of about 38.8 billion yuan, four highway projects with a total mileage of about 161.8 kilometers and a total investment of about 35.95 billion yuan, and three oil and gas pipeline projects with a total investment of 3.25 billion yuan.
These infrastructure projects will effectively help optimize the transport network, energy supply and drive the economic growth of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. (Edited by Gu Shanshan, gushanshan.1987@163.com)
