BEIJING, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- The operation of China-Europe freight trains in Suzhou, a well-known manufacturing city in east China's Jiangsu Province has backed on track recently from Suzhou New District (SND) to Russia.
This is the first freight train departs from the province this year amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
92 TEUs were loaded on the freight train, with a cargo weight of 588 tonnes, including electronic products, textiles goods, and industrial parts.
It is noted that freight train services in Suzhou will resume scheduled operation of four trains a week as enterprises resume work and logistics transportation starts regular operation.
In 2019, the outbound freight trains ran by Suzhou increased 44.99 percent from 2018 to 227 ones, with a total of 20,740 TEUs. (Edited by Jiang Feifan)
