BEIJING, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- The GeelyX8074 China-Europe freight train, loaded with 86 standard containers of Geely auto parts, on Tuesday honked from Yiwu for Minsk, Belarus, marking China-Europe freight train service resumed normal operations in Yiwu, according to China Railway Shanghai Group.
It is learned that the Geely China-Europe freight trains (Yiwu-Minsk) departed from Yiwu West Station and will arrive in Minsk in 14 days, delivering Geely's Auto parts to Europe.
The China-Europe train service has developed prosperously in Yiwu since it was first launched in the city in 2014.
China-Europe freight trains have made over 500 trips departing from Yiwu in last year with annual shipments exceeding 40,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 63.2 percent.
