BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- China's service trade maintained steady growth from January to October in 2019. The value of foreign trade in service totaled 4.44 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 2.6 percent.
Data revealed a further reduced trade deficit in service, which stood at 1.28 trillion yuan in January-October, down 10.4 percent from the previous year.
Additionally, the quality of service trade got further improved. During the period, China's import and export value of knowledge-intensive services amounted to 1.51 trillion yuan, up 10.7 percent year on year. (Contributed by Li Wenxin)
