CHANGSHA, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- Central China's Hunan Province on Tuesday reported a robust 46.2-percent surge of foreign trade in the first 11 months of 2019 to 392.35 billion yuan (about 56.4 billion U.S. dollars).
The growth rate ranked first in the country during the period.
Statistics from the provincial department of commerce showed Hunan's exports grew 60.6 percent year on year, the fastest in China, to 277.02 billion yuan from January to November.
Its imports rose 20.4 percent to 115.34 billion yuan, ranking fourth in the country in terms of growth rate.
