BEIJING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Huzhou Power Supply Company introduced its replicable and propagable action experience for emission reduction in the field of energy during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) held in Madrid on Tuesday.

The move marks the company's willingness and determination to further promote the energy conservation and emission reduction and contribute to its own wisdom for global climate governance.

Experts from State Grid Huzhou Power Supply Company noted that power grid enterprises play a significant role in fulfilling national carbon emission reduction commitments and also serve as the driving force for pressing ahead with energy conservation and emission reduction in the entire society.

Besides, the company also shared its practices and strategies of deeply integrating the development of electricity with the construction of urban ecological civilization, and pushing forward the demonstration city construction of Huzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province. Through many years' practice and exploration, the company has already set up an "Ecology + Electricity" platform in an effort to propel the transformation of energy supply and energy consumption.

In the future, the company will scale up its efforts to actively explore clean energy, tap deeper into the potential of emission reduction on the power grid and guide the implementation of energy replacement projects.

Upon the construction of the "Ecology + Electricity" demonstration city, Huzhou municipal government has striven to promote green production and living mode. At present, the city has achieved fruitful results in reducing air pollution and carbon emission and initially established a new-type energy mechanism.
