Recently, Asia Pacific Quality Organization has published the evaluation results of 2016 Global Performance Excellence Award. YRPG won"2016 Global Performance Excellence Award"(world-class) with great honor, becoming the first and only domestic pharmaceutical enterprise to achieve this distinction.
Asia Pacific Quality Organization was founded in 1985 as an independent, nonpolitical and noncommercial international organization of science and technology. It mainly consists of Pacific-Rim nations, with quality organizations from USA, China, Canada, Mexico, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and Chile etc. as its core members. APQO aims at the improving the quality of global products, service and people’s livelihood. The established Global Performance Excellence Award employs the progressive Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Standard. Organizations granted with National Quality Award are therefor provided with a world-class competition platform. Meanwhile the selected global award-winning organizations thus become the paragon. The awards are divided into 3 levels: World-class (the Highest); Best for Industry (the Second); Pursuit of Excellence (the Third). GPEA is the sole formal international certification for performance excellence of enterprises, as well as the only cross national & cross regional international management award for commending organizations perusing performance excellence. Since 2000, 201 organizations have already achieved the awards of all 3 levels, including Haier Group, Goodbaby, HYX (shanghai) and so on.
For decades, YRPG persists in “Good Quality, People Oriented, Great Innovation, Supreme kindness” as the core value. It brought in “Performance Excellence Mode” in 2005 as strategic measure for building a world famous pharmaceutical company. We take example by advanced international management system, learning from them good experience, promoting YRPG from Good to Excellent. YRPG carries out QC group activities and holds “Quality Month” activity twice a year. By putting the six sigma management into effect, we have improved the enterprise management in all aspects. YRPG realized the synergetic development of both quality and benefits by focusing on technical innovation, good quality and excellent performance. For consecutive 12 years, YRPG has won the most First Prizes of QC Achievement Publishments, among which are 2 international medals. In 2014 and 2015, the group was honored with TOP1 in China Brand List of Bio-pharmaceutical industry respectively with brand strength and brand value, thus became the strongest pharmaceutical brand in China. In 2014 and 2015, YRPG won the first place twice consecutively among TOP100 enterprises of China Pharmaceutical Industry, and ranked in TOP3 for 7 years. Besides, YRPG was also granted with “China Benchmarking Enterprise of Quality”, “China Excellent Enterprise of Quality Control Group Activity”, “Jiangsu Quality Award”, and nominated with “China Quality Award”.
As President/General Manager Mr. Xu Jingren indicates, YRPG should keep up with international advanced quality management mode, push forward the approval process of FDA and EU GMP, striving to build YRPG into an internationalized pharmaceutical with global reputation and brand competitiveness during the 13th Five Year Plan.
As far as it is concerned, 14 organizations, including Baxter (Mexico),
OCBC (Singapore), Rossini and some other companies also won this prize.
10 organizations, including Vietnam Electrical Equipment Joint Stock
Company, won the Best for Industry Award. While 6 organizations,
including the Philippines Land Bank, won the Pursuit of Excellence
Award. In November this year, Asia Pacific Quality Organization will
