SHANGHAI, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Two Hungarian institutions, namely Duna Media Service Provider and Media Service and Support Trust Fund, joined Belt and Road Economic Information Partnership (BREIP) in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Menyhert Laszlo Dobos, director general of Duna Media Service Provider, said that the media institution is very pleased to join BREIP, hoping to provide economic information services for exchanges and cooperation between enterprises of the two countries through BREIP and promote the development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Duna Media Service Provider is the national public media service provider of Hungary. Media Service and Support Trust Fund is Hungary's state-owned national public-service broadcasting organization.
As one of the major deliverables of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, BREIP was initiated by Xinhua News Agency. It aims to provide convenient and practical economic information services for the governments and enterprises involved in the Belt and Road construction.
On June 27, 2019, BREIP was announced to establish in Beijing by more than 30 co-founding institutions including well-known news agencies, information service providers, research institutions, chambers of commerce and associations from 26 countries and regions.
