On April 1, 2019, GAC Group (601238.sh, 02238. hk) held a press conference in Hong Kong to release its annual business performance in 2018 to the investors and the media.
In the conference, GAC Group for the first time briefed on the details of its Mobility Project. As a new mobility platform, GAC Mobility commits itself to “connecting people’s lives, and building a wonderful transportation network that connects the starting point, journey and destination. In the early stage of the Project, in line with the company’s grand strategies of “achieving smart mobility for everyone”, GAC Mobility utilizes its advantages to adopt the B2C mode, and aims to make customized, smart new energy vehicles to provide a full range of mobile services covering transport, accommodation, tourism, entertainment and shopping based on strict driver and vehicle controls and innovative scenario-based service mode, thereby satisfying the users’ pursuit for personalized splendid life. The Project will be officially launched in Guangzhou in June 2019, and it is expected that 10,000 new energy vehicles will be on roads in five new cities within one year. Efforts will be made to promote the Project to other regions of China after its implementation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
