HAIKOU, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- The emblem and slogan of the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2020, which is scheduled to be held in Sanya, south China's Hainan province from November 28 to December 6, were unveiled on last Friday in the coastal city.
The emblem is composed of shining sun, ocean elements and embodiments of Hainan. Featuring blue, green, yellow and orange color blocks that shape into the number of 6 to represent the 6th Asian Beach Games, the emblem symbolizes the fashion and openness of Sanya and beach games.
The deer in the emblem delivers the concepts of freedom and rationality, showing Sanya's characteristics of inclusiveness and innovation and expressing the Deer City's confidence and determination to hold fashionable, environmentally friendly, wonderful and splendid beach games.
The English slogan, "See ya in Sanya", extends the warm welcome of Sanya to guests from all over the world and conveys the good wish of the people in Hainan and China to work hand in hand with people of other countries to build a better world, share development benefits, and usher in a brighter future.
Sanya will make full preparations for the Asian Beach Games this year and show the charm of Sanya, the image of Hainan's free trade zone (port), and the charisma of China via the sports event, A Dong, mayor of Sanya and the vice chairman and secretary general of the Asian Beach Games Organizing Committee said at the 400-day countdown ceremony of the event.
