InfoQuest, (October 21, 2019) -- The Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) of the Ministry of Commerce unveiled Thailand's foreign trade data in September 2019. According to the figures, the total export value registered 20.4813 billion U.S. dollars, falling by 1.39 percent, and the total import value reached 19.2061 billion U.S. dollars, contracting by 4.24 percent, hence a trade surplus of 1.2752 billion U.S. dollars.
In the first nine months of 2019, the export value totaled 186.5719 billion U.S. dollars with 2.11 percent of contraction while the import value reached 179.1905 billion U.S. dollars, down 3.68 percent, resulting in a trade surplus of 7.3814 billion U.S. dollars.
