MILAN, Oct. 21 (Class Editori) – Sciuker Frames is looking for new customers in the eastern market. "The Fenestration Bau in Shanghai, a key event in the sector, is a must for all window manufacturers who want to establish themselves in the international market. Our goal is to meet new national and international buyers and transfer the value of the Sciuker Frames brand to the Asian market," explained the managing director, Marco Cipriano, presenting the company's participation in the international window solutions show in Shanghai from 5 to 8 November.
The event is organized by Wind Building Materials, the second Chinese manufacturer of Windows and building materials, based in Tianjin, which since last June has been a partner of the Italian company. In 2018, the leading trade fair in the sector reached over 100,000 visitors from 68 countries and for this reason Wind Constructions Building Materials decided to invest and exhibit eco-friendly windows with Made in Italy design signed by Sciuker Frames at the 2019 edition of the event.
For the company founded 25 years ago, led by Marco Cipriano and his sister Romina, who are also its major shareholders, and is listed on the AIM, the stock market for small businesses, since last year, participating at fair will be an opportunity for Sciuker Frames to start, increase and consolidate trade with China.
Sciuker Frames designs, produces and sells natural windows in wood aluminum and wood structural glass with an eco-sustainable design, with a focus on the quality and style of the products, made with selected eco-sustainable raw materials and Italian manufacturing. Its strength is that of windows based on a patented Stratec technology, thanks to which the company creates tailor-made products that combine comfort, style and energy efficiency.
In Italy it distributes to a network of 300 retailers and 6 directly managed stores including one in Switzerland. The company's green commitment has recently materialized in the #Sciuker4Planet project, the production system applied in the plant in Avellino with low environmental impact, with a production capacity of about 35 thousand windows per year.
Last June, Cipriano announced the agreement with the Wind Construction, China's second-largest manufacturer of window frames and building materials, based in Tianjin, the fourth largest city in China, with over 15 million inhabitants, and an autonomous municipality such as Shanghai and Chongqing, on the north-eastern coast of the country.
#Sciuker4Planet is a highly technological project that will allow to increase the marginality thanks to the reduction of about 80% of the processing times (each profile will be realized in just 2/3 minutes), to the significant increase of 70% of the production capacity, to the improvement of the production process through a concrete reduction of energy consumption and optimization of warehouse management which will allow a considerable saving of the relative costs.
The plant is equipped with the most advanced numerical control software according to Industry 4.0 standards.
"Our factory represents an excellence of Made in Italy and the beginning of a new era for the production of windows in wood aluminum and structural glass wood," explained Cipriano, president and CEO, "from today, thanks to the new production line, we will have the possibility to give a turnaround to the times of production guaranteeing also a greater attention to the details".
Sciuker Frames closed 2018 with € 9.2 billion in consolidated revenues and an EBITDA margin of 24%, while this year, in the first half, revenues, € 63 million, were up 51% with an EBITDA of 1 million euro, (+43.8%).
