JINAN, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- China Economic Information Service (CEIS), an affiliate of Xinhua News Agency, Tuesday launched the English version of its credit information platform Xinhua Credit, during the 2019 Forum for Credit System Construction of Chinese Cities.
The launch of the English version of Xinhua Credit marks the platform has started to provide service for international users, said Xu Yuchang, Chairman and President of CEIS.
Xu said as a liaison unit of China's interministerial joint conference for social credit system construction member, CEIS has been actively contributing in the cause.
It's learned that the English version of Xinhua Credit provides users with information of more than 200 million enterprises in more than 230 countries and regions, including more than 62 million domestic enterprises, and general credit information at home and abroad.
In the field of city credit construction, Xinhua Credit helps the government to select overseas companies in bringing investment and preventing risks, and better allocate resources of industrial parks and free trade zones by means of credit.
In terms of business environment analysis, Xinhua credit provides credit environment and risk assessment reports for 133 countries and regions and public security reports of 64 countries to reduce risks for Chinese enterprises.
Forum for Credit System Construction of Chinese Cities is a national-level forum in the field held every year, under the guidance of China's top economic planner National Development and Reform Commission. Themed with "credit wins the future", this year’s forum, organized by CEIS and Jinan municipal development and reform commission, was held in Jinan, Shandong Province.
