BEIJING, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, called Gui in short, has long served as an important sea gate of the southwest region and a major window for the cooperation between China and the ASEAN due to its advantageous geological position.
Also boasting stable economic growth, fast growing foreign trade as well as rapidly developing industries, Guangxi is stretching out a full-dimensional development plan to build itself a key portal for the organic linking of the Belt and Road.
By dredging the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor to the south, deepening cooperation with the Yangtze River Economic Belt to the north, docking with the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to the east, as well as participating in the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor and Lancang-Mekong Cooperation to the west, Guangxi is welcoming all for win-win cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
