BANGKOK, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese team pocketed two champions of 200-meter (200m) and 500m racing, and a second-place of 2000m racing at the 14th International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) World Dragon Boat Racing Championships closed Sunday in Bangkok, Thailand.
The participating Chinese team Jiangxi Jinhu management office tiger mountain team, which was crowned championship for China Longzhou (dragon boat) Tournament 2018, stormed an impressive 39”251 in the 200m race and set a new world record.
Hosted by IDBF, the World Dragon Boat Racing Championships enjoys largest participation and widest influence globally and was held every other year.
