BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Ferrari will recall 200 imported vehicles in China due to faulty airbags, according to the country's top quality watchdog.
Starting on October 10, the recall will involve some of imported Ferrari 458 Speciale A, California T, 488 GTB and 488 Spider models manufactured between August 27, 2015 and January 9, 2018, according to a statement on the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation.
Due to problematic assembly, the faulty electronic control unit on these cars may cause air bag malfunction, posing safety hazards, the statement said.
The company will replace the faulty parts free of charge.
