BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- State Grid will develop a research framework for key technologies in ubiquitous Internet of Things (IoT) and accelerate the application of ubiquitous power IoT new technologies, said Han Jun, deputy general manager of State Grid, on Thursday.
The ubiquitous IoT is an intelligent service system making full use of modern information technologies and advanced communication techniques.
State Grid, a major power grid operator in China, will strive to further strengthen its construction of the ubiquitous power IoT to support the development of grid-connected and emerging businesses, said Han.
The ubiquitous IoT construction will drive the development of related technology and industries, and bring opportunities for the advancement of such industries as PV and electric vehicles, said relevant researcher of the State Grid. (Edited by Bao Nuomin, baonuomin@xinhua.org)
