BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) – The 2019 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT) will be held in Wuxi, east China’s Jiangsu province, from September 7 to September 10, with the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) as a highlighted topic, the organizing committee Tuesday announced in Beijing.
“Compared with the previous ones, the 2019 WIOT is aimed to be more international, professional and practical,” said Gao Yaguang, vice Mayor of Wuxi.
Themed in “integrated innovation and smart network for everything,” the event will include one main summit, one IoT application and production exhibition, one IoT technology application release conference, 10 high-end forums and 12 other activities.
More than 30 companies of the world TOP 500 enterprises have confirmed to join in the event. Guests from over 30 countries are due to attend the event and more than 180,000 people are expected to visit, according to the organizing committee.
Topics around IoV will be a focus of the expo, as Wuxi has been approved by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) to build the first VoT pilot zone in China.
At the event, traditional automobile enterprises, intelligent network-connected automobile enterprises, automobile electronics manufacturers, IoV platform service providers, transportation facilities suppliers, automobile/road communication operators will display the new ecology of IoV industry.
It’s learned that, for this year’s IoT application release conference, the organizing committee will collect new technologies, new products and new applications of the IoT from all over the world, and they will be reviewed by an expert committee composed of more than 30 well-known experts in the field.
