MILAN, June 28 (Class Editori) – On the stock Exchange it had a theoretical rise of 12% (the bond was, however, suspended due to an excessive rise) Sciuker Frames, the window manufacturer, after the announcement of the beginning of a strategic partnership for the development and marketing of Made in Italy window collections in China with Wind Constructions Building Materials in Tianjin.
Wind Construction is China's second-largest manufacturer of window frames and building materials, and is based in Tianjin, the fourth largest city in China, with over 15 million inhabitants, and an autonomous municipality such as Shanghai and Chongqing, on the north-eastern coast of the country.
Sciuker Frames has started the trademark registering procedure in China and has announced its participation in two of the most important international events in Asia. The window collections will be the protagonists both at the 20th edition of the International Building Exhibition in China (Guangzhou) CBD Fair, from 8 to 11 July and at the Fenestartion Bau which will take place at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) from 5 to November 8, 2019.
Participating at international fairs will be an opportunity for Sciuker Frames to start, increase and consolidate trade with China for the company founded 25 years ago, led by Marco Cipriano and his sister Romina, who are also its major shareholders, and is listed on the AIM, the stock market for small businesses, since last year.
Sciuker Frames designs, produces and sells natural windows in wood aluminum and wood structural glass with an eco-sustainable design, with a focus on the quality and style of the products, made with selected eco-sustainable raw materials and Italian manufacturing. Its strength is that of windows based on a patented Stratec technology, thanks to which the company creates tailor-made products that combine comfort, style and energy efficiency.
In Italy, the producer operates as supplier for 300 retailers, and manages 6 stores for direct selling in Switzerland. The company’s commitment to the protection of the environment recently came into being through the #Sciuker4Planet project, the low environmental-impact production system implemented in the Avellino production plant – powering a 35-thousand-window production every year.
This green engineering project will increase margins through an 80% reduction on processing times – each frame should be produced in just 2-3 minutes – a substantial 70% increase on production capacity, an upgrade of the production process through a reduction in energy consumption and an optimization of the storage management – allowing important savings on relevant costs.
The plant develops along 25 linear meters and is equipped with the most innovative technologies and numerically-controlled software – in accordance with the Industry 4.0 standards.
The new plant prototype, which preview was displayed at the Ligna Exhibition in Hannover at the end of May, should become fully operational by next September.
The investment for the realization of the new plant – about one million euro – was financed through the MISE call “Macchinari Innovativi” (Innovative Machinery), providing a 25% contribution for facilities construction and a 75% subsidized loan. The company will be bearing the remaining 25%.
“Our plant represents a Made in Italy excellence, as well as the starting point of a new era in wood-aluminum and wood-structural glass windows production,” said Cipriano, President and CEO. “From now on, thanks to the new production line, we are given the chance to make a change in production times while ensuring an increase in the attention to details”.
Sciuker Frames closed 2018 with 9.2 billion euro in consolidated revenues plus a 24% EBITDA margin. This year, during the first 5 months, the purchase orders coming from the retail segment went up 40%, in particular on the Italian market.
