BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) -- China's international goods and services trade income amounted to 1.57 trillion yuan (about 228.58 billion U.S. dollars) while its expenditures stood at 1.38 trillion yuan, official data showed Thursday.
The country saw a surplus of 183.4 billion yuan in international goods and services trade in May, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) said in a statement.
In breakdown, China's goods trade gained 1.43 trillion yuan in May with an expenditure of 1.10 trillion yuan, leading to a 334.6-billion-yuan surplus, the SAFE data showed.
Meanwhile, services trade saw a 151.2-billion-yuan deficit in May, as the income and expenditure stood at 135.7 billion yuan and 286.9 billion yuan, respectively.
