BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- FAW-Volkswagen and Jaguar Land Rover have announced a plan to recall defective cars over potential safety risks, according to China's market regulator.
Starting from May 31, the recall by FAW-Volkswagen involves 974 units of 2019 Audi A4L that were domestically made from April 23 to May 16 of 2019, as well as 1,531 units of 2019 Audi Q5L that were domestically made from April 14 to May 16 of 2019 over defective engine's low pressure fuel pipe, the State Administration for Market Regulation said in a statement.
Recall by Jaguar Land Rover involves 254 units of imported Jaguar I-PACE made from April 11 of 2018 to January 7 of 2019 over software setting problems. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
