BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- East China's Jiangsu Province on Monday introduced an action plan to cut operating costs and forge favorable business environment for enterprises.
According to Xu Guanghui, deputy head of the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission, the plan was formulated based on the 18 primary and 87 secondary indicators of China's national business environment assessment system, with reference to the World Bank's doing business indicators as well as related policies and experience.
It lists 150 specific tasks, covering all aspects of business operations, including registration, operation and cancellation, said Xu.
Xu also noted that amid the 150 tasks, 25 of them aim at reducing the economic costs for enterprises, involving tax reduction, financing cost cut, cleaning-up and standardization of related fees, etc.
39 of them aim at cutting the time cost for enterprises, including improving the convenience for opening a business, simplifying the cancellation procedures, optimizing real estate registration services, etc.
86 of them aim at reducing institutional costs for enterprises, including easing investment access, simplifying investment approval, attracting more foreign investment, etc.
Next, the province will also put emphasis on related coordinated mechanism, third-party evaluation, complaint and inspection system, etc., in a bid to better the business environment. (Edited by Gu Shanshan)
