BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) -- The Fourth Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit themed "Enabling Digital Economy · Industries Integration" is scheduled to be convened at the Hangzhou White Horse Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center during June 27-29.
Organized by China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, the summit will continue to center on the digital Silk Road and its profound impact over global economy, sharing practices and experience of Hangzhou with the world, and focusing on innovative application of digitalization of industries.
By then, a keynote session under the summit and the "2019 Amazon Global Seller Summit/Direct Procurement Meeting" are due to be held on June 27 and June 28-29 respectively.
This year, the summit theme "Enabling Digital Economy · Industries Integration" points to implanting digital technology into traditional industries via cross-border E-commerce platforms for further development and realizing online and offline integration for traditional industries. Via these, it aims to craft Hangzhou into a strategic hub for the digital Silk Road and deepen construction of the Belt and Road.
According to its organizer, many Chinese and foreign experts, representatives from the Belt and Road Initiative countries, heads of relevant ministries, 35 cross-border comprehensive pilot areas and provincial and municipal governmental departments, and representatives from more than 1,000 reputed cross-border E-commerce platforms, famous brands, sellers, foreign trade enterprises and service providers will take part in the summit.
On the "2019 Amazon Global Seller Summit/Direct Procurement Meeting", more than 4,000 online sellers on Amazon Global Selling and more than 150 factories and service providers from East China characteristic industry belt will be present.
What's more, a report named the 2019 Top 100 Chinese Brands for Going Abroad of Amazon Global Selling will be released on the meeting and some of the Top 100 Chinese online sellers will share their experience for going global with attendees. (Edited by Duan Jing, duanjing@xinhua.org)
